Big Valley Saga - She is our big girl, measuring a whopping 14.3 hands. And she has a big heart of gold! Saga stands for what most Fjord dreams are made of (in my opinion!). She is tall, she is stout, she has a pretty face. And most importantly she is a sweet and good natured and willing as they come! Her size and disposition make her the ideal trail mount for my beginner husband as well as the mare of choice for horse riding and therapy sessions. Out of Bushwhacker's Cherry Blossom and sired by Trygg by the renowned Iduna Acres program, she is a wonderful example of traditional drafty lines and I am excited to see how she will cross with Sleipnir's and Njord's more modern European lines.
